Medical protective masks
Medical protective mask is suitable for the medical personnel and related personnel of the airborne respiratory infectious disease protection, is a kind of closed self-priming filter type medical protective equipment, high protection grade, especially suitable for clinical activities by airborne or close contact in patients with respiratory tract infection disease transmission by droplets when worn. It can filter through the particles in the air and block droplets, blood, body fluids, secretions, etc. It is a disposable product. Medical respirators can block most pathogens such as bacteria and viruses, and WHO recommends that medical staff use respirators that prevent particulate matter to prevent viral infections in hospital air.
Medical protective masks conform to gb19083-2003 technical Requirements for Medical Protective Masks, with important technical indicators including non-oily particle filtration efficiency and airflow resistance. Specific indicators are as follows:
1) Filtration efficiency: under the condition of air flow rate of (85±2) L/min, the filtration efficiency of the aerodynamics median diameter of (0.24±0.06) μm sodium chloride aerosol is not less than 95%, that is, in line with N95 (or FFP2) and above grade. It can block airborne infectious agents <5μm in diameter or close contact with infectious agents transmitted by droplet.
2) Suction resistance: under the above flow conditions, the suction resistance shall not exceed 343.2Pa (35mmH2O).
3) for samples sprayed at a pressure of 10.9Kpa (80mmHg), there should be no technical indicators such as infiltration inside the mask.
4) Masks must be equipped with nose clips made of flexible flexible material with a length >8.5cm.
5) synthetic blood should be sprayed at 10.7kPa (80mmHg) into the mask sample. There should be no infiltration inside the mask.
